New Delhi | The central government and the farmer leaders on Saturday held the fifth round of talks to end the deadlock along the borders of Delhi. However, the talks have once again failed as the farmers and the Centre have failed to arrive at a consensus. The next round of talks will now be held on December 9.During the meeting, the Centre proposed the amend the farm laws and said that the acts will benefit the farmers. The farmers, however, stayed firm on their demands and said that they will continue to stay at the roads. "We do not want corporate farming. The government will benefit from this law, not the farmer," the farmers told the government during the meeting. .
